Join us for special weekends, winter 2014- spring 2015, for tours of Liberty Hill Farm, the Cabot Creamery Cooperative, local sugarhouses, baking classes, and lots of fun! This is an all new adventure on the farm!
Friday Dinner through Sunday Brunch
Your weekend will start Friday night with dinner on the farm featuring Vermont grown products.
On Saturday morning after breakfast visit the barn, meet the cows, try your hand at milking, and help feed the baby calves. Then Beth will set you on the road to follow the route of the milk truck to Cabot, Vermont, home of Cabot Creamery Cooperative, makers of the World’s Best cheddar! You will visit our dairy plant and watch the cheese being made and see the process we use to produce our award winning products. The Cabot Visitor’s Center has fabulous samples for your enjoyment.
“Home to the Farm” for another great dinner at 6 p.m. and enjoy the evening watching the stars come out or relaxing in the farmhouse.
Sunday morning participants will have a 3 hour hands-on baking class in Beth’s kitchen using our Cabot butter, Greek-style yogurt and Cabot cheeses. Each weekend will have a different theme for the recipes including sweet and savory dishes. Everyone will enjoy a Sunday brunch before heading home.

November 1 &2, 2014: Harvest Pies
December 13 & 14: Holiday Baking
January 10 & 11, 2015: Savory Dishes featuring Cabot Cheeses
February 7 & 8: Sweets for all Tastes using Cabot’s Greek-style Yogurt
March 7 & 8: Vermont Maple
April 4 & 5: Spring Delights
November and December weekends will have time for shopping at local artisans. January and February include cross country skiing and snowshoeing. During the March and April weekends we will visit a local maple sugarhouse.
Each weekend lodging and meals will be provided at Liberty Hill Farm. Meals include dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings at 6 p.m., breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 8 a.m., and a Sunday brunch with recipes from the weekend baking class. Each weekend will be limited to 8 participants. Fee for the weekend is $300 per person.
