A Vermont farmstay at Liberty Hill Farm Inn creates wonderful memories!
For a quarter of a century, we've opened our doors and hearts to guests from around the world. Many of our guests return year after year and have become dear friends. Maybe it's because of Beth's incredible, home-cooked meals or the novelty of a genuine, working dairy farm. Perhaps it is the allure of the peace and quiet of this stunningly beautiful corner of Vermont or the chance to milk a real cow! Some come to celebrate anniversaries, others family reunions. Whatever the reason for your visit, we are blessed to be able to share our home and our way of life with you. Are you looking for outdoor adventure or looking for a quiet retreat? Liberty Hill Farm offers the best of both. You are always welcome here! From our family to yours…
Vermont's Best Foodie Tour
For the culinary traveler: A delicious reason to visit us here at Liberty Hill Farm! This season we have banded together with twelve inns and B&B’s in the Champlain Valley to develop a new gastronomical adventure. Our part of Vermont is a treasure trove of artisan cheesemakers, craft breweries, vineyards and wineries, farm stands, maple sugar houses, orchards, gourmet food shops, and of course, fine dining restaurants. Come to Rochester and pick fresh berries at Sunshine Valley Berry Farm or visit Sandy's and pick a new book about food and farming to add to your collection. We've worked with 30 of these destinations to create a package with a detailed map and over $100 in coupons/vouchers at more than 30 must-visit sites for foodies. If that's not enough to entice you, the package includes a Vermont products gift basket upon arrival. Mention "Foodie Tour" when you book your stay; package price is $65 with any room reservation.

Tropical Storm Irene
We are all fine and Liberty Hill Farm is Open for Business!
Cows are milking, calves are mooing, and Beth is Cooking!!
Dear friends across the country & around the globe,
On August 28, 2011, Tropical Storm Irene moved through Vermont causing severe flooding, the likes of which our state hadn't seen since 1927. As the White River quickly swelled over its banks and through our farm and the rest of the valley, our sons risked life and limb to swim our cows out of the barns to higher ground, saving all 271 animals. Our barns and fields were flooded, we lost power for five days, and roads to and from Rochester were severely damaged. Fortunately, our house sustained no damage. Over the last ten days, we've been focused on ensuring our cows are comfortable and healthy, supporting neighbors, making plans for field clean up, and getting ready for fall foliage season. See a recent TIME cartoon by Isaac Eddy showing the rescuing of our cows. Thank you all so much for your emails and phone calls. We feel very blessed at the tremendous outpouring of love and caring from friends near and far! Thank you all for your caring and concern. We look forward to see you all soon! Love to all of you!! Bob and Beth
