Great News!

Liberty Hill Farm has been selected to be one of the voices representing the family farm owners of Cabot Creamery Cooperative!! We are truly honored to help spread the word about the great Cabot products that our cooperative markets throughout the United States. Cabot Cheddar has won every major award for cheese and our Cabot butter is a blue ribbon winner as well. Liberty Hill Farm participated in the recent Open Farm Event held November 1st and our story is available on Cabot’s website among the online virtual farm tours.

In addition, Beth and our cow, Larue, are featured in a new Cabot Creamery Cooperative commercial that is airing right now on your television!! Bob saw the commercial as he was surfing channels during the World Series. If you don’t happen to see it, visit the Cabot website at: www.cabotcheese.coop and click on videos, then find the “Hug A Farmer” video. It was a really fun day working with the video production team. Beth is thrilled to be a part of the message of gratitude to all our farmers and gratitude to all of you who support our farms through purchasing our Cabot products. Thank you!
Beth will be working with the incredible folks on the Cabot Road Show teams this winter visiting supermarkets along the East Coast talking to folks about the delicious, nutrient rich, healthy cheese, butter and yogurt produced from the milk direct from our Cabot family farms. She will try to let folks now her schedule if she is in your area. Don’t worry; she will get home to cook your dinner when you come to visit the farm!!!

The Kennett family is also an advocate of the Keep Local Farms initiative. Beth has been working with the VT Agency of Agriculture, the New England Dairy Promotion Council, and the New England Family Farms group to provide information about agriculture here in New England. The initiative has developed a great website, please visit www.KeepLocalFarms.org. Stories and photos from several farms throughout New England, including Liberty Hill Farm, are featured on the website.

Lots of fun things going on!! We will share more news as it happens. In the meantime, Smile and say “Cheese, Please!”
